The Cable Saver is a product of Denmark, designed by sound lovers for sound lovers. It is an original invention by Bubblebee Industries that significantly reduces the cost of repairs of lavalier microphone cables, connectors, and transmitters.
Using the Cable Saver is a simple process. Users need to put their lavalier microphone cable through one of the rubber eyes of the Cable Saver, wind the cable tight around the middle 3-4 times, and then through the rubber eye at the other end of the Cable Saver.
The Cable Saver acts as a spring if the transmitter is dropped or the microphone cable gets caught in something, allowing for a soft fall that relieves strain on the cable and saves your equipment.
Apart from its primary function of saving your cable, the Cable Saver also drastically reduces cable friction noise to the point where it almost disappears. This means no more scratching and rattling noises when someone accidentally touches the microphone cable.
What's Included
Each package of the Cable Saver comes with four pieces – enough to save 2-4 microphones. They are made of durable black rubber that always returns to its original form. It is recommended to mount the Cable Saver indoors and under calm conditions due to its small size.
Specifications and Warranty
The Cable Saver measures 2.5 cm x 0.5 cm (0.9” x 0.19”) and weighs 2.5g (including packaging). The product is covered by a two-year warranty securing against defects in material, design, and workmanship.
Note: It's not recommended for use with a Countryman B6 or Sennheiser MKE1 due to their small and fragile cables.
