The THEOS DIFB (Global Unit) is a digital IFB receiver constructed with a metal body for professional production environments. Its hardware features an ultra-wideband tuning range of 550–960 MHz with Global OneBandTM for compliance with local RF regulations. The unit incorporates a true-diversity system with two SMA antenna connectors to maintain a stable signal.
User interface elements include a large color screen and a metal knob for volume and selection. It is equipped with a locking 3.5 mm headphone jack for secure connections. The receiver is compatible with THEOS transmitters and supports scan and pair functionality. It can store up to 20 frequency presets for efficient switching. Power is supplied by two AA batteries, offering up to 17 hours of operation with lithium cells, or via a USB-C port for continuous external power. A text-to-speech function audibly announces the DID name for channel identification.
For remote management, the receiver integrates with the Sidus Audio app via Bluetooth, allowing for RF scans, preset bank programming, and frequency coordination. The device also supports direct connection with Bluetooth headphones.
