Deity at IBC2026: PR-2ii, TC-2 and THEOS D4RX

Deity Microphones presents three new products for location sound at IBC2026: the PR-2ii recorder, TC-2 timecode generator and THEOS D4RX wireless receiver. The three devices expand the recording, synchronisation and UHF reception functions in the company’s range.
The exhibition takes place from 11 to 14 September at RAI Amsterdam. The PR-2ii is being shown with production firmware, while the TC-2 and D4RX make their first public appearance.
PR-2ii: pocket recording with a redesigned preamp
Deity PR-2iiPocket recorder · 32-bit float · Dual ADCView productThe Deity PR-2ii is a pocket recorder with a dual-ADC preamp and a specified recording dynamic range of at least 124 dB.
- Formats: 48 kHz, with 32-bit float recording in mono or 24-bit recording in stereo.
- Connections: 3.5 mm TRS microphone/line input with 5 V plug-in power; headphone, line or timecode output. USB-C handles file transfer, audio-interface operation and timecode.
- Recording: microSD cards up to 1 TB, pre-recording, markers and a PSRAM buffer to help protect files if recording is interrupted.
- Construction: IP54 protection against dust and splashes, 6H protective glass and a 600-nit display.
- Power and control: more than 20 hours on two Deity AA batteries, USB-C power and control through Sidus Audio.
- Settings: 75/150 Hz filters, a limiter and gain presets for lavalier microphones.
The PR-2ii supports wired and wireless timecode. Continuous wireless timecode reception is planned through a firmware update following the launch of the TC-2.
TC-2: continuous Bluetooth timecode and 120 fps
Deity TC-2Timecode generator · Continuous Bluetooth · 120 fpsView productThe Deity TC-2 is a timecode generator that uses continuous Bluetooth transmission to keep compatible units synchronised within wireless coverage.
- Synchronisation: native 120 fps timecode compliant with SMPTE ST 12-3, alongside LTC, ATC over USB-C and MIDI timecode.
- Wireless connectivity: RP-SMA antenna and a stated range of up to 70 metres, with wireless LANC support.
- Display: colour AMOLED screen with a variable refresh rate of up to 60 Hz and 6H protective glass.
- Control: Sidus Audio allows users to configure modes and outputs, check battery levels and synchronise units.
- Compatibility: TC-1 cables and cold-shoe mount; BitConnectify 1.0 maintains synchronisation with earlier devices such as the DBTX, TC-SL1 and PR-2.
Compatibility with earlier generations does not give those devices continuous timecode capability. The supported functions depend on the device and its firmware.
THEOS D4RX: four UHF channels in a slot-in receiver
Deity THEOS D4RXUHF receiver · 4 channels · Slot-in formatView productThe Deity THEOS D4RX is a four-channel wireless receiver with independent channels. It uses eight radios for true diversity and a modular interface for integration into sound bags, cameras and sound carts.
- RF: Global OneBand tuning from 550–960 MHz, multi-SAW front-end filtering and encrypted digital audio. The usable frequency range depends on the region.
- Integration: slot-in design carrying power and audio through a single connection, with four-channel AES3 support and an interchangeable rear interface.
- Planned connections: bag docks and selected Panasonic ENG cameras; TA5-to-TA3/XLR options and four-pin Hirose-compatible power.
- THEOS Link: remote control of frequency, gain, RF power and internal recording on paired transmitters, with a stated range exceeding 20 metres.
- Processing: LiveHit DeNoiser applies noise reduction to one or more paired channels.
