How to prepare camera and sound synchronisation

• Check whether each camera and recorder has a dedicated timecode input. To record LTC through an audio input, confirm that your equipment and editing software support that workflow.
• Set the same frame rate and drop-frame or non-drop-frame mode on all devices as required by the project. Synchronising timecode is not the same as synchronising clocks with genlock or word clock.
• Check the number of units you need, battery life and the cable for each input. Bluetooth control alone does not replace the timecode connection to the camera.
