The Ambient QUICKLOK quick-release tip for microphone assemblies is the most popular quick connection that is quiet enough to allow professional boom operating and similar applications.

The QUICKLOK body mounts on the 3/8" thread of a boom pole or microphone mount and is fixed in place by a grub screw. The tip fits into the microphone holder and can be tightened firmly with a screwdriver or similar through a cross hole.

The clever mechanism is self-locking and self-locating, with a tapered design to provide a rigid and absolutely rattle-free connection.

This universal piece will find its place for quickly dismounting equipment, microphones, antennas and much more, not only outdoors but also in music recording studios.
