The Ambient QRT QuickLok is a quick-release adapter for microphone assemblies. Its body mounts on the 3/8-inch thread of a boom pole or stand and is secured with a grub screw; the separate tip fastens to the microphone support. The tapered mechanism is self-locking and self-locating, producing a rigid, rattle-free connection. Made from aluminium, it weighs 50 g and has a 4.8 cm boom-to-mount height. This version uses Ambient’s pink finish.
