The Ambient QWB is a screw-on boom-pole segment with a mounting plate for a wireless transmitter and UMP III phantom-power unit near the pole tip. This position reduces cable clutter, supports quick extension and collapse, and provides wide operating range with minimal interference. Hook-and-loop straps and soft pads secure the equipment. Its construction combines a carbon-fibre tube, aluminium mount and stainless-steel tip. The QWB is 22.5 cm high and weighs 90 g.
