Circularly polarised active receiver antenna

The BETSO CPAA-18 is an active circularly polarised receiver antenna for demanding wireless microphone systems. Circular polarisation improves reception when the transmitter antenna changes orientation or when reflections and obstacles disturb a linear RF link.

Its ultra-low-noise amplifier can be adjusted from -9 to +18 dB, making it useful with both short cables and longer cable runs that need loss compensation. The antenna is powered through the coaxial cable from a 5-20 V DC source.
