Cinela OSIX is a family of dedicated microphone suspensions for isolating handling noise and vibration. Its patented principle, introduced by Cinela in 2006, adapts wire-form spring technology to crossed isolators; synthetic spring materials progressively replaced the original metal construction.

Each OSIX is designed for a particular microphone or configuration rather than being fully modular. The range includes mono references, two-body MS configurations and ORTF systems. Integrated wiring reduces connection bulk and supports direct use, but the reference must be selected for the microphone model, size and mass.

• Three cradle lengths and three stiffness grades
• Four crossed-isolator shapes
• Three cable lengths
• Two strap lengths for different microphone diameters
• SW-UL-A toothed swivel and standard cable on every OSIX since 2018

The optional RF-OPT wiring provides reinforced protection against interference associated with digital transmitters. It must be specified for the selected OSIX reference.
