The CTP Systems DDM888 is a 1RU Dante stereo monitoring unit with two high/midrange speakers and one bass driver. From a single device it can select and monitor 16 stereo network inputs, 8 stereo analogue inputs, 8 balanced AES inputs and 8 stereo SDI audio channels.

Its front panel includes a stereo meter selectable between analogue-style PPM with phase indication and bargraph display, plus a programmable preset button for recalling frequently used monitoring combinations. Every input has level adjustment for source normalisation and can be delayed individually by up to eight frames. Setup and source selection are also available through the built-in web interface.

Connections and formats:

• SDI output and stereo analogue output for external monitoring or metering.
• Secondary network port selectable for redundant or switched operation.
• Asynchronous sample-rate conversion on AES inputs, accepting signals up to 192 kHz without adjustment.
• Support for SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI level A or B.

Power can be supplied by PoE through either or both copper Ethernet ports, or by 110-240 V AC mains at 50/60 Hz. The enclosure is 1RU high and 150 mm deep.
