Wideband UHF spectrum

One of the standout features of the Deity Theos digital wireless microphone system is its use of a wideband UHF spectrum instead of the crowded 2.4 GHz band. Frequencies range from 550-960 MHz.*.

Theos Digital Wireless also features interchangeable frequency ranges based on your phone's GPS / Firmware update. You can now travel the world with a single wireless microphone kit.

Built-in recorder

The Deity Theos digital wireless microphone system also features a transmitter with a built-in recorder. The built-in recorder offers 24-bit and 32-bit float formats, so you never have to worry about gain staging in your backup WAV files. Recordings are saved to a Micro SD card of up to 128 Gb, providing plenty of space for your audio recordings.

The built-in recorder boasts an impressive EIN self-noise of -130dBu (A-weighted, gain at +30dB, 150ohm source impedance). This puts it on a par with some of the most expensive audio recorders in the film industry.

Wireless timecode sync

The most exclusive feature of Theos is that the transmitter can be natively and wirelessly synced from Deity's TC-1 timecode generator. Timecode ensures that the backup WAV files will sync with the master file in post-production. This feature is especially useful for filmmakers who need to work with multiple cameras or devices. It ensures that audio and video files are perfectly in sync, making the editing process much easier. Alternatively, the DBTX can be synced via the 3.5 mm jack if you use third-party timecode generators.

Full-colour LCD screen

One of the standout features of the Theos wireless system is its full-colour LCD screen, which shows the status of the device. This screen makes it easy to monitor the performance of the system, ensuring you always have a clear view of your audio levels, battery life and other critical information. CNC-milled aluminium body

Both the DBTX and the D2RX are made from 2 blocks of CNC-milled aluminium. The result is a transmitter that weighs only 100 grams.

SMA antenna ports

Both the DBTX and D2RX come with SMA antenna ports, which allow you to swap the antennas to fine-tune your frequency or replace them if they are damaged. This feature makes your kit more compact to carry in its case, which is especially useful when working on location.

Up to 14 hours of battery life

Theos Digital Wireless is capable of up to 14 hours of battery life when combined with the Deity 3000mAh AA battery.

The D2RX and DBTX can be powered externally via their USB-C ports.

Remote control via the Sidus Audio app

The app allows you to perform frequency scanning and assignment, frequency coordination between several receivers, gain staging and remote triggering of the backup recorder. This means you can make adjustments to the audio settings without physically touching the device, which makes work easier when you are on set.

The remote control feature is especially useful for filmmakers who need to work with several devices or who need to adjust the audio settings quickly. It saves time and ensures you never miss a critical moment of the shoot.
