The IFBlue IFBR1C is a belt-pack IFB receiver for programme monitoring, talent cueing and crew communications in film and broadcast production. It is compatible with Lectrosonics IFBT4 and IFBT4-VHF transmitters, and with Digital Hybrid Wireless transmitters operating in IFB compatibility mode.

The LCD and side-panel keys store and recall up to 10 preset frequencies. The headphone lead also serves as the antenna, while the output can drive earphones, headphones and induction neck loops from 16 to 600 ohms. Its ABS housing includes an attached belt clip, a multi-colour battery indicator and a USB port behind the battery door for field firmware updates.

• VHF: 174.100-215.750 MHz.
• A1: 470.100-537.575 MHz.
• B1: 537.600-614.375 MHz.
• C1: 614.400-691.175 MHz.
• 941: authorised ranges within 941.525-959.825 MHz, depending on region.

Power comes from two AA alkaline, lithium or rechargeable NiMH cells. IFBlue specifies more than 10 hours with alkaline, more than 12 hours with NiMH and more than 20 hours with lithium. The user is responsible for choosing frequencies approved in the country of operation.
