The Ambient QP-580 is a Series 5 QuickPole telescopic carbon-fibre boom built in five sections. It uses fifth-generation tubes with added UHM fibre layers and redesigned locks with refined knurling for improved grip. Teflon sheets and silicone-lubricated felts support smooth extension and collapse. This model measures 840 mm when collapsed, reaches 3,120 mm and weighs 636 g. Ambient states that these lengths include the boom tip and rubber bottom end.
