Telescopic carbon fibre boom pole for production sound

The Ambient QuickPole Slim is a professional microphone boom pole based on the Ambient 5 Series. This Slim version keeps the stability of the QuickPole family, but reduces the diameter to 30 mm and uses four sections to be lighter and more comfortable over long days.

Construction and handling

The tubes are made from a carbon fibre composite with UHM layers, designed to combine stiffness and low weight. The quarter-turn locks allow the boom pole to be locked and unlocked quickly, and the anti-twist mechanism helps prevent lateral rotation between sections.

Extending, collapsing and maintaining

The combination of a Teflon sheet and silicone-lubricated felts makes extending and collapsing smooth. The detachable tip and optional cabling kits allow internal cabling to be prepared without soldering, and the design makes it easy to dismantle, clean and reassemble the boom pole when necessary.
