The SCHOEPS MK 4V is a side-addressed cardioid capsule for the Colette modular microphone system. Its mild high-frequency rise, including a slight emphasis around 10 kHz, supports speech intelligibility. The acoustically transparent housing helps preserve the directional response at high frequencies and reduces off-axis high-frequency emphasis compared with many axial cardioids.
