1 W UHF booster for wireless transmitters
The Audio Wireless AWPB-1W is an RF power amplifier designed to raise the output of low-power UHF wireless transmitters to a maximum of 1 W. It is useful for long-range audio links, sports coverage, shoots with vehicle tracking, IEM transmitter reinforcement and situations where more coverage is needed without changing the whole wireless system.
RF design
The output stage incorporates a bandpass filter specific to the working band, with second- and third-order harmonic rejection. It accepts analogue, hybrid or digital UHF transmitters working within the same tuning band, with a wide input range to suit different transmitter powers.
Construction
The CNC-machined aluminium casing also acts as a heatsink, with a black anodised finish and laser marking. It is a compact design intended for professional location use, where the equipment must withstand heat, transport and frequent setting up.
