The Schoeps CMC6 +MK41 mono set is a bundle with a SCHOEPS CMC 6 microphone amplifier and 1x MK 41 capsule.

The CMC 6 U is designed for standard 48 and 12 volt phantom power. Its circuit recognises the supply voltage and adjusts automatically. Its performance characteristics remain essentially the same in both cases; the main difference is that current consumption at 12 volts is higher than at 48 volts. However, 12-volt mode consumes less power and may be preferable for battery-powered recording.

The MK 41 is usually preferred for recording dialogue for film sound, as a spot microphone in the orchestra and on the opera stage.
